Welcome to Shelia’s Garden Pvt Ltd — a family tradition where nature, Ayurveda, and Sri Lankan heritage come together. Our story begins with my grandfather, an Ayurvedic doctor whose deep knowledge of healing plants led him to create the first herbal garden. His lifelong dedication to nature and wellbeing shaped the foundation of our work, and he lived to the remarkable age of 101.
His daughter - my mother - Shelia, continued this legacy with her own Ayurvedic garden, home to more than 200 medicinal and aromatic plants. What started as a place of healing and wisdom grew into a living sanctuary, guided by her passion and respect for the earth.
Over time, the next generation expanded this heritage into a thriving plantation, adding authentic Ceylon cinnamon and premium black pepper, cultivated with traditional methods that preserve purity and natural flavor. Nestled in a peaceful rural landscape surrounded by rice fields and untouched nature, Shelia’s Garden thrives in one of Sri Lanka’s most serene environments.
Today, as a German–Sri Lankan family in the third generation, we proudly bring the finest flavors of our homeland to the world. Our products are 100% organic, handcrafted, and made with deep love for nature — a true reflection of our roots.
With every pinch of cinnamon and every peppercorn, you taste the soul of Sri Lanka and the legacy of my grandfather and mother. Pure, natural, authentic — this is Shelia’s Garden.
Beneath the cool, dappled shade of Sri Lanka’s tropical canopy, our pepper vines thrive in their natural sanctuary. The air is rich with moisture, the soil deep and fertile — creating the perfect environment for slow, graceful ripening. Each vine is a testament to untouched nature, absorbing the purity of its surroundings to produce pepper with remarkable depth, aroma, and character.
In the quiet stillness of our plantation, the cinnamon bush grows with an almost meditative grace. Its soft green leaves and delicate shoots capture the purity of Sri Lanka’s untouched landscapes — a natural elegance that hints at the fine, aromatic Ceylon cinnamon it will one day become.
